Frassy Federico was born in Aosta (Italy), in 1978. He received the M.S. degree in Environmental Science from University of Parma (Italy), in 2005.
From 2005 to 2010 he was involved in many works with remote sensing data such as environmental monitoring, asbestos roofs detection and montane grasslands classification founded by Aosta Valley Autonomus Region (RAVA), INVASIT srl., Mont Avic Park and Regional Environment Protection Agency (ARPA). Since 2010, he has been a research assistant with the Laboratory of Remote Sensing (L@RS) of Politecnico di Milano University. His research activities are focused on environmental anomalies detection, multilayer approach, thematic classification, image de-noising and statistical analysis in order to deeply investigate multi and hyperspectral remote sensing images characterized by high and medium resolution.
