I am an Italian native speaker offering 5+ years of experience as a professional translator and proofreader. I'm currently living in Italy, but have spent long periods abroad (Germany, Austria and the UK).

I hold a Master's Degree with Honours in Foreign Languages (Literature, Linguistics and Translation) and IT (Computer Science and Web Development). Certified language proficiency and computer skills.

Before becoming one of my main working fields, computers and video games have been my biggest passion. Ever since I was a kid, I loved keeping up-to-date with the latest tech news and trends! I am familiar with a wide range of OS (Android, Apple, iOS, Microsoft), software (Adobe suite, MS Office, Quark Xpress) and web publishing applications (Joomla and Wordpress) and can guarantee the correct terminology will be always respected.

I can adapt your well-crafted copy and translate it in a text that will sound as if I had been created for an Italian target right from the start! I usually translate website contents, promotional emails and auctions/product descriptions for Amazon and eBay, social media posts for websites like Facebook and Twitter. And thanks to a previous work experience as a marketing assistant I have hands-on knowledge with benchmarking, SEO and SEM practices.

► Travel & tourism, sport & leisure
Not only I am lucky enough to live in an area renowned for its tourism hotspots and food/winery production, but I had the chance to discover foreign cultures and travel abroad early on in life. I have translated travel reports, customer reviews for campings and hotels, guided tours descriptions. I have also attended a post-degree course on the language used in travel texts.
