I am a native Italian freelance translator and I work in the English to Italian language combination. I hold a university degree in modern languages and literatures and I also took the Cambridge Proficiency exam (passing Grade B) while studying in Cambridge, UK.
Throughout the last twenty years I have dealt with a wide variety of subjects, from simple personal correspondence to websites and e-commerce listings, to more complex documents (technical manuals, EU environment-related papers, medical, legal) and songs.
Eight years spent in two English-speaking Canadian provinces allow me to grasp many nuances of the English language, and recognize cultural references. I currently reside in Italy but I read and write in English on a daily basis.
